As it usually is, the nose is more reserved and more typical of a classic Nuits with a brooding aromatic profile of red and black fruit, underbrush, game and iron-infused earth that is strong to the point of pungency and leads to rich but detailed big-bodied and tautly muscled flavors that culminate in a linear and focused finish that delivers impressive length.
