Nuits Saint Georges Les Saint Georges, Domaine Henri Gouges 2005

**Note: 55+ year old vines**As it always is, this is certainly more elegant and slightly more complex as well than the Vaucrains with dense but pretty red fruit aromas that introduce pure and refined medium full flavors that are complex and balanced on the gorgeously long finish. This is brimming with potential as well and while it too will require plenty of patience, its class and grace could allow it to be approached in its youth and then a few years later as it ages. In a word, brilliant.
