The 2017 Morey-Saint-Denis Village, which had not been racked, has a lifted black plum and red currant bouquet with just a touch of hoisin. The palate is medium-bodied with a strict, linear opening and a fine bead of acidity, but it feels clammed shut toward the finish at the moment. Give it a couple of years once in bottle. ****
