This isn't quite as elegant but it's more aromatically complex with a densely fruited mix of red and dark berry fruit aromas that are liberally laced with notes of soil and spice nuances. The medium weight flavors are rich and round yet nicely precise with a lovely sense of underlying tension to the firm robust, serious and distinctly sauvage finish. This is an excellent villages that is definitely worth considering. (Drink starting 2017)
