The 2008 Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Cuvée Heurtebise, Chartogne's 100% Chardonnay is another gorgeous, striking wine from this pedigreed vintage. Lemon oil, white flowers, mint, crushed rocks and white pepper race out of the glass. The style is taut, focused and crystalline, with a deeply saline finish that is incredibly inviting. The early signs of aromatic development suggest the 2008 might be especially long-lived, but it is absolutely gorgeous today. Dosage is 4 grams/liter. Disgorged: May 2015. (Drink between 2015-2023)
