Once again the aromas are very fresh but in this case the brooding nose only grudgingly reveals its elegant and well-layered mix of dark cherry, raspberry, plum and violet scents. There is excellent richness and mid-palate density supporting the velvety medium-bodied flavors that coat the mouth with dry extract on the mineral-driven, firm and relatively robust finale where a hint of warmth arises. At least some patience will be needed and this should ultimately reward close to a decade of aging. 2024+
