Chambolle Musigny Amoureuses, Louis Jadot 2022

This is beautifully ultra-floral in character with an abundance of spice and exotic tea nuances to the black pinot fruit coulis scents. The mouthfeel of noticeably refined middle weight flavors is both succulent and velvety while exuding an almost aggressive minerality on the youthfully austere, compact and quite serious finish that deliver superb length. This is very classy juice and a wine that should age well on its impeccable balance. I would add that this is also a wonderfully poised wine, indeed the word Zen comes to mind. There are two and a half barrels of the 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses (Domaine Louis Jadot), the most perfumed wine in the cellar, bursting with notes of orange zest, peonies, exotic spices, cherries and raspberries. Medium to full-bodied, pure and suave, it's lively and mineral, with a rich core of fruit and a long, aromatic finish.
