AP: 13 17. The 2016er Brauneberger Juffer-Sonnenuhr Riesling Kabinett AP 13 (an auction lot) delivers a beautifully complex and layered nose of tangerine, candied orange, smoke, fine spices, and cassis. The wine gorgeously combines rich elements of fine exotic fruits with superb candied, spicy acidity giving quite a lively and energetic kick to the whole. The finish is mouthwatering and layered. Although it already exhibits the typical characteristics of a rich Spätlese or even an Auslese, its purity is that of a refreshing Kabinett. This is a splendid expression of sweet Mosel wine!
