Tasting notes

Neal Martin, vinous.com, January 2026 91/93

The 2024 Beaune Clos des Ursules 1er Cru has a delightful, well-defined and quite complex bouquet with a little more florality and mineralité than the Boucherottes or Cras. Very focused. The palate is very well balanced with just the right amount of acidity. A mixture of red and black fruit laced with white pepper and desiccated orange peel, it feels assured on the finish. A worthy follow-up to the excellent 2023. 2028-2042
