This wine (with fruit from La Morra that rests for 27 months in wood) is silky and smooth, delivering a steady stream of interconnected aromas that fold between dark fruit, spice and smoky asphalt. La Morra. Tasted blind. Mid ruby. Quite closed on the nose with only hints of sweet spice. Supple fruit on the palate that is not super-expressive right now. Long chewy tannins and plenty of ripe acidity and with brooding depth and complexity. 2024 – 2034
