The 2019 Barbera d'Alba is floral and lifted, with pretty red berry fruit. In 2019, the Barbera is decidedly light and ethereal, with a Nebbiolo-like sense of mid-weight structure and less of the richness readers are likely to expect. Drink it over the next handful of years.
