The 2015 Valtuille Villegas was again my favorite of the single-vineyard range, and the one I find closer to the Cepas Centenarias. It has something that makes me think of some Italian wines. It combines power with elegance, in a rare combination, showing restraint for the character of the warm and dry year. In 2015 they made four 225-liter oak barrels, but production is variable; in 2016 the plot was hit by mildew, and they couldn't produce the wine at all. 2019 - 2026
