A discreet but not invisible application of wood frames the essence of pear liqueur, spice, acacia blossom and grilled nut-scented nose. Once again there is excellent focus and punch to the slightly bigger medium-bodied flavors that possess a sleek and polished mouth feel, all wrapped in a strikingly long finish that is clearly built-to-age. In a word, wonderful.
