Ormes de Pez Blanc 2025

The maiden 2025 Ormes de Pez Blanc comes from vines planted three years ago, on four hectares of cooler soils, representing just 3,000 bottles this year (it will increase to around 20,000 in the future). Matured in used oak, tank and amphora, this has an attractive bouquet with white peach, Anjou pear and light white flower scents. The palate is well balanced, with a fine bead of acidity, more texture than the Blanc de Lynch Bages and a dab of stem ginger on the finish. Drink 2026-2033.

The inaugural release of this new white cuvée from the emerging Médoc Blanc appellation, the 2025 Ormes de Pez Blanc reveals a classic bouquet of herbs, spring flowers and boxwood. Medium- to full-bodied, juicy and supple, it’s built around a core of fruit with good depth, animated by fresh, lively acidity through the mid-palate and concluding with a long, mouthwatering finish. Bottled the day before tasting, with just 3,000 bottles produced, it's a classic white wine from Bordeaux.

A new white with sliced apples, pears and minerals, with hints of mangoes on the nose and palate. Medium-bodied with a lovely texture and flavorful finish. Bright and vivid. Zesty. Aged six months in barrels and Tava amphora. Real Atlantic character, meaning a salty undertone. A blend of 55% sauvignon blanc and 45% semillon. Drink now.

The 2025 Ormes de Pez Blanc is a new wine in the range. Ripe pear, lemon confit, white pepper, slate, mint and white pepper lend notable brilliance throughout. Drink this airy, aperitif-styled white over the next few years. This is a terrific debut. 2027 - 2035
