Ségla 2015

The 2015 Ségla reveals baked cherries, hoisin and light cedar aromas on the nose, which is tightly wound at first but gains intensity with aeration. The oak is neatly integrated. The very well-balanced, medium-bodied palate features firm tannin, commendable purity, smooth texture and just a touch of white pepper and graphite toward the persistent finish. Medium to deep garnet colored, the 2015 Segla bursts with notes of black cherries, redcurrant jelly, and juicy blackberries, plus hints of dried mint and dark chocolate. The medium to full-bodied palate is coated with bright black fruits plus grainy tannins and plenty of freshness, finishing with lovely purity.
