Le Cul de Beaujeu lies in front of the Monts Damnés, facing east. The soil is Kimmeridgian with small fossil seashells, on slopes up to 45 degrees. Brochard own 0.5ha in Beaujeu. The wine is matured for 12 months, half in barrel, half in amphorae. Already drinking beautifully with a forward, fruity and fleshy style, there is so much concentration on the palate that it would be a shame not to let this develop for several years. The warmth on the palate is cut by the fresh acidity. Long and lingering finish.
