The vineyard is composed of three terraces but there was no fruit in the bottom sector. Does that explain the exceptional quality this year? Clear dense purple colour. Very intense youthful fruit with a hint of reduction. Amazing density though. And stretches out really well behind, with grace and subtlety, perhaps even more precise than usual.
