Lanson Noble Cuvee 2004

Wild aromas and flavors of dried lemons, ginger, sliced apples and honey. It’s full and very rich, yet remains vivid and spicy. Lots of white pepper. 70% chardonnay and 30% pinot noir. Disgorged in September 2021. Drink or hold.

This is the first release of the rebranded Noble Champagne, containing 70% Chardonnay from Avize, Cramant, Le Mesnil, Oger, and Chouilly, and 30% Pinot Noir from Verzenay and Bouzy. That Chardonnay is lilting and exuberant, providing a racy elegance and a sleek, streamlined structure that envelops the dark, vibrant flavours of Pinot Noir. Where the Noble Blanc de Blancs focuses on its pure, mineral-driven length, this feels more harnessed and sculpted, its Pinot Noir giving it a baritone presence on the finish and making it more layered and complex. 2022-2050
