Vosne Romanée, Joseph Drouhin 2022

There is plenty of Vosne spice suffusing the slightly riper aromas of poached plum, dark cherry and a whiff of hoisin. The delicious, caressing and seductively textured middleweight flavors tighten up noticeably on the dusty, serious and long finale where the only reproach to be found is a touch of warmth. An attractive mid crimson colour. A fine fresh bouquet, elegant fruit, not too demonstrative, but with a graceful detailed red fruit, alpine strawberry and little raspberry notes. Very nicely put together, all about the fruit more than the structure. Drink from 2030-2037.
