A more deeply pitched nose speaks of plum, violet, forest floor and newly turned earth. Here too the medium-bodied flavors possess a lovely texture even though there isn't the same refinement on the mildly rustic, youthfully austere and relatively powerful finale. This is a quality Gevrey villages. (Drink starting 2031)
