This is a magnificent bottle of Kabinett, which offers a beautiful nose of pear, passion fruit and white flowers and just a hint of yellow fruits to add an understated sensation of opulence. The wine is zesty and fresh on the palate, with great aromatic precision. This is a beauty in the making, but one which will require some aging. 2019-2034

Intriguing, very introvert nose. Clearly an extremely youthful wine to judge from its very embryonic bouquet. Great slap of ripe fruit on the front palate with finely etched texture and acidity in abundance. Very different from the vintage norm of open, easy, fruity charm. This is more of a complex patchwork. Flowers and lime and potential. Almost painful to taste at this stage. 9.5%
