The 1990 Rivesaltes has a pretty bouquet with Seville orange marmalade, orange blossom and light rosewater scents. Very fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied and fresh with fine tannins and good tension. This veers into a more elegant style of Rivesaltes, with a finish that is akin to a spicy Sauternes. Recommended. Drink 2025-2045.

50:50 Grenaches Noir and Blanc.Darker tawny than most. Rich and pruney on the nose. Very sweet and simpler than many with quite a bit of chew on the end. Relatively young! (JR)
