A very ripe liqueur-like nose speaks primarily of various dark berries and spice wisps. The rich, full-bodied and succulent flavors remain reasonably well-balanced on the lingering finale that gradually firms up as it sits on the palate. While there is a mild touch of backend warmth, it's not really enough to upset the overall sense of balance. This is a quality villages and well-worth a look. (Drink starting 2025)
