Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy, June 2024 94

Mid red, with a reductive nose. Some strawberry. A little bit of tannin at the back, quite firm. The Chambertin seems as though it is being forced back into its shell, yet there is a final burst of more luscious red fruit. Tried from a second bottle: pale to mid red with a much cleaner bouquet, still a little reductive but much more even across the palate.
