The 2022 Le C du Sec du Château Closiot is another excellent white wine from Jean-Marie Guffens. Evoking an elegant, complex and fresh bouquet of ripe pear, exotic fruits, nutmeg, vanilla pod and spices, it's medium to full-bodied, round and enveloping with a layered structure and a juicy core of fruit, concluding with a sweet finish with a touch of volatile acidity. While it may not be as exuberant as the 2023 vintage, and certainly not as much as its owner and winemaker, it remains a great effort. 2025 - 2038
