Tasting notes

Jasper Morris MW, Inside Burgundy, October 2023 92/94

Fresh pale lemon and lime. The bouquet comes across a little sterner after the Chassagne 1er crus. Not especially floral, but this does have the electric steely backbone, and kicks on extremely well in terms of fruit intensity on the palate. Little waves of flavour return at the end. A very stylish Puligny with extra intensity, being an enclave of Enseignères. Lovely grip at the finish. Drink 2027-2033.
