When I first put my nose into the glass the Leflaive Combettes had a slightly rubbery reduction, though not really hiding the wine, and it did not take long before evolving into a more classical reductive character. Very impressive intensity with the steely core one looks for in Puligny, and a fresh lime tinge to the white fruit. Very well done.
