The 2023 Mâcon-Pierreclos Le Chavigne is excellent, offering up aromas of pear, waxy citrus rind and white flowers, followed by a medium- to full-bodied, satiny and layered palate that's suave, racy and expressive. This cuvée sometimes gets lost in the shadow of the "Tri," to say nothing of "Juliette et les Vieilles," but it is a superb wine in its own right.
