There is enough reduction to suppress the underlying fruit at present. Otherwise there is good verve to the acceptably concentrated medium weight flavors that brim with minerality before culminating in a beautifully detailed, even chiseled, stony and impressively persistent if youthfully austere finish. This is really quite elegant and should age effortlessly thanks to its impeccable balance. (Drink starting 2031)

The 2023 Fixin 1er Cru Les Arvelets is pretty and nicely balanced, bursting with aromas of dark berries, plums and blood orange, followed by a medium to full-bodied, ample and mineral palate.
