**Note: from old vines of an indeterminate age**A markedly ripe yet fresh and cool nose offers up a beguiling array of spice, floral and stone elements that confer serious depth onto the red, blue and black pinot fruit aromas. The mouth feel of the medium-bodied flavors is also silky and mineral-driven and the palpable sense of refinement is enhanced by the super fine-grained tannins on the hugely long, firm and beautifully balanced finale. This stunningly good effort should drink well after only 6 to 8 years though it will need fully 12 to 15 to fully peak.
